Key Features of Gokai Acrylic Sheets

High Impact Resistance: Acrylic is approximately 10 to 17 times more impact-resistant than glass. This makes it much less likely to shatter, earning it the nickname "shatterproof glass."

Lightweight: It is roughly half the weight of glass for the same thickness. This makes it easier to transport, handle, and install, requiring less heavy-duty structural support.

Excellent Optical Clarity: Acrylic boasts a light transmittance of up to 93.4%. It allows for crystal-clear viewing and does not yellow over time when properly manufactured.

Weather Resistance: It is highly resistant to weathering and UV radiation. Acrylic is often used outdoors (signage, display,etc..).

Versatile Fabrication: Acrylic can be easily cut, drilled, routed, and bonded using standard woodworking or metalworking tools. It can also be thermoformed (bent) into complex curves and shapes when heated.

Cost-Effective: While higher-grade acrylic can be expensive, standard acrylic sheets are generally more affordable than specialty glasses like tempered or laminated glass, and the lower transportation/installation costs add to the savings.

Superior Workability & Fabrication: PVC foam boards can be easily cut, drilled, routed, screwed, nailed, and glued using standard tools. They can also be heat-bent or thermoformed into various shapes
